Good Morning, I hope all you Moms have a wonderful day and are all treated like queens.
When I first thought of doing these clay pieces the first thing that came to mind was polymer clay but having worked with it a lot, I felt it would be too heavy for a card, but I also just wanted to try it. This medallion was rolled out as thin as I could without fear of it cracking, I used transparent. It is a little heavier than the paper clay but will work. Because the clay has no absorbency the color lays on top and is a little softer. I do like the look of it though. I used the airbrush to distress the edges, the photo corners are Cuttlebug and the grape background paper is from my scrap bin so I cannot remember whose it is. Happy Sunday, Hugs

Beautiful Sandi, as all of your work is! I really love the look of the clay medallion.
Ok...so I'm assuming that because you "rolled it out", that you totally sculpted the grape leaves yourself??? You are unbelievable!!! Gorgeous! Absolutely gorgeous!
hugs!
