Beatrix Potter-Veggie Garden

Wednesday's are days to take stock, the middle of the week, what has been accomplished, what is still left to accomplish.  My plate is full and I am blessed, yet I am always amazed to realize it is heading toward the end of the week, I guess I better get a move on it, lol.  On Tuesday the Silhouette Library releases new images and I was so happy to see some new Beatrix Potter releases, this is one of my all time fav children's stories, I have a box set that I purchased 26 years ago before my son was born and he grew up with the stories of "Peter Rabbit".  I had some water color paper in my printer (90lb. hot pressed) and in my opinion nothing takes color like watercolor paper, so I put the image on my Design Mat and created an offset and then filled it with black, positioned my image and printed it out, I then printed and cut another image, on this one I did a little fussy cut, removing some of the image so that the some of the veggies and earth peeked out behind, which gives an added depth.  The butterfly is also a Beatrix Potter.  Before I adhered the 2nd image on top, I did some airbrushing to create just a wisp of sky and clouds, you can barely see it in the photo but it is there.
This is a close up and side view to show the dimension.  Hope your plate is full and you are on the flow, hugs
