Tuesday greetings, still dark, but promises of a beautiful fall day are evident by a very bright moon and still twinkly stars. A little change in pace today, no Halloween, no Christmas, I played a little this morning with some Thanksgiving images.
This is a 6"X6" card, I am still playing with Dawn Inskip images, I love her expressions, the turkey, bunnting and "blessings" are all from her "Count Your Blessings" digi kit. Several years ago when I still had my wide format printer I did a lot of experimenting with papers and one I was esspecially fond of was "Canson" Acrylic Media Paper, 110lb, I think I got it from Wal-Mart, essentially it is just a canvas paper. I quit playing with this paper when my printer died and I replaced it with a 3in1 Epson that did its Swan Song a month or so ago, it was a lowend printer and anything over 80lbs. just would not feed in. Unsure of what I wanted to replace it with, I just installed dh's printer, which is a Lexmark and it will load my heavier papers, yeah!. This canvas paper takes printer ink well as you can see, almost a watercolor effect, I then enhanced with Copic markers. The turkey is 3 layers and on the card in real life looks like a chip-board piece. All images were taken to the cameo for cutting and oh it is slick, look how it cut the strings on the bunnting. You would use the setting you would use for chipboard and cut twice. The background paper is also from Dawn's kit. The photo corners are sizzix, colored with Copics and the font is from Spellbinder's. Hope everyone has a fab day, hugs

Lovely card, Sandi. I don't think by the look on the turkey's face he knows what's coming! LOL.
