Star Gift Hang Tag - Smiley Cards

I was one of the very lucky people chosen t receive the first download of the Gypsy Cart Promotion (wow what a sharing 6 fonts) yesterday.  This morning I printed double sided from the Imagine and then cut out six of these cuties on 3" from my Gypsy on the Expression, to use as gift hang tags.  The punched snowflakes are from a MS punch.  "merry Christmas" is a "Hero Arts" stamp.
This is the inside, there is repositionable adhesive on the black ribbon at the top of the star, it really works and you cannot see it.  I use the "Repositonable Craft Stick" by Scotch.

Chistmas Cards

These are my favorite Christmas cards so far.  I printed out 3 panels on my 6"X6" card stock, then placed the tree from Cricut cart "Stretch Your Imagination" on my Imagine board, flooded with the pattern.  The photo corners are QK, The black snowflakes are from a Marvey punch and the blue ones are from an MS punch, the blue circles and middle embellie are from a MS punch also.
This one was done the same way just a little different configuaration and colors. The "merry Christmas" stamp is from a "Hero Arts" stamp set. Happy Friday, Hugs

3 ReinDeer

Happy Thursday, I am so so so in love with this Imagine, it expands and enhances my studio more and more each day.  I literally dreamed this card all night, yesterday I pulled out some embellishments from last year that  I wanted to finish up and use this year.  The reindeer were from an after Christmas sale, I kept looking at them yesterday and realized they needed a very specialized paper, I had a few 2 toned sheets in my stash but nothing worked.  In my dream I kept printing out these two tone sheets but of course there was no memory of specifics in my brain from the dream, just the memory of doing them.  So I have been playing with sizes, carts etc. since 3AM and here is what I came up with, I am kind of excited about the process.  I used the George Basic Shapes cart and placed it on the board, resized it to 7 (there is a bit of bleed over the top to the back) which kinda looks cool but may play around with the sizing a bit, definitely want it to go all the way to the top, then placed another one, then flooded one with dark green and the other with this pattern from "snow angel".  Embossed the side with a boarder Cuttlebug folder and placed the reindeer. Size is 6"X6"  Happy Creating, Hugs

Photo corners are by QK.  Have a great day as you start sliding into Halloween weekend. Hugs

Enclosure cards and envelopes/Imagine

For those of  you that have the Imagine, have you seen this envelope on the "Imagine More" cart?  I printed and cut it out at 5.5" the final measurements are approx. 3"X2 1/4", I then designed a card for the envie.  Putting 6 or 12 of these in a sweet see through bag - what a fantastic stocking stuffer for your favorite gift giver. Hugs

changing the color of patterned papers

I know two posts this morning, but this was worth posting for.  I know one of the updates I am waiting for PC to do for the Imagine is giving us the option to change the colors on patterned papers, but until that happens here is a fun way to alter those colors, it is best done with 2 color patterns.  I used the barn red checks on "Imagine More" cart and printed full page using yellow pastel 12"X12" paper from a Wal-Mart stack, so if you use blue you will get a violet/gray with orange and if you use green you will get a taupy/green with organe color, etc. etc. There is so much fun with this machine - hope you have some today. Hugs

Imagine Note Cards

Happy Sunday Morning, it is cool and wet here in NCA and we are expecting a whooper of a storm to move through bringing winds and more rain, a great stay in and stay warm day.  Yesterday I played with the butterfly on the "Imagine More" cart, experimenting with different elements.  One of the slickest parts of the Imagine images is the ability to print and resize the parts for printing and cutting in different sizes.  The first card was punched with the MS lattice boarder punch, the photo corners are QK.  The label sentiment was computer generated, the butterflies are layered to give the card a little dimension.
The second card also used the MS lattice boarder punch and a Cuttlebug embossing folder.  "Merci" is a stamped image and I added some tiny red berries to the branches.  Both of these done on white cardstock to  give it a crisp look.  I am doing 6 total for a gift box note set.  Hugs

Snowflakes and craft paper-Imagine

Happy Saturday everyone.  The Imagine continues to run here.  I love craft paper and a month or so ago I was at my paper supplier and saw a roll of craft paper imprinted with snowflakes. Wasn't going to pass that one up and I brought it home.  I was skimming through my "Snow Angel" cartridge and kept looking at the snowflakes and a project was born.  I used the craft paper as a background for my standard A-2 card and layered 2 of the snowflake designs 3 times.  I stamped "merry Christmas" with a Memories Stamp set and added EKSuccess photo corners. A little bit of glitter in the middle of the center snowflake. Then cut an A-2 envelope from the "Sentimentals" cart.  I wanted to finish the inside but the blues on the Snow Angel cart were not what I wanted so I used RGB Codes to print out the inside block and I punched out the snowflake with a 1 1/4" circle punch.  I used one of the snowflakes for an envelope seale.
I folded the card back so you could see the inside well.  Hope everyone has a great weekend. Hugs

Christmas cards

Two Imagine Christmas cards this morning.  These are from the "Snow Angel" Imagine cart and oh some great stuff on this one.  I embossed a background sheet with a Cuttlebug folder.  Used snowflakes as photo corners.  The background oval was printed with the Imagine as well as the snowman.  A little glitter on the snow and good to go. Over all size is 4.25"X5.5".
The background on this was printed (solid color) on the Imagine and then spritzed it with a fine spitzing bottle, the main snowflakes on the ornament have been raised with pop dots.  The sentiment block was cut and printed with the Imagine "Merry Christmas" is a stamped image.  Photo corners are EKSuccess on silver paper and then accented here and there with pearl gems.  Happy Wednesday, Hugs

Imagine Update is here

It drops a full page print icon onto the menu.  There is limited communication between the Gypsy and the Imagine but more is coming.  If you are upgrading both machine you have to do one at a time.  Mine upgrade for the Imagine got in a loop at the end, the whole process should not take more than about 35mins, if it goes longer call PC. The Gypsy upgrade went slick and quick. When doing an edge to edge print there is a minimal bleed onto the mat, it cleans up quickly and easily with a baby wipe.  This paper is from "Snow Angel" isn't it awesome?  Am I gushing?  I love this machine. Have a great evening - Hugs

Thanksgiving Card

Good Tuesday morning everyone. I am really struggling with the fact that the seasons are upon us.  I did this quick Thanksgiving card with the Imagine.  I have been working with the Imagine non stop for 4 days now and I love it.  The learning curve is low and yet I discover something new every time I print and cut.  The finished look will pass with little to no fuss and yet if you want to spend the time you can achieve some fantastic details by adding shadows with Copic markers, inks and prisma pencils.   The ability to set your own RGB codes is genius, I also have the Bazzill app and am able to print out tags to match my Bazzill card stock which I have tons of.  I am sure when the updates are done it will be even better, so in my opinion this is definitely a machine to consider.
This card is 4.25" X 5.5".  I used the "Imagine More" cart, I cut in layers so that I could do my own thing.  The sentiment is handwritten and I added the measuring tape at the bottom.  EKSuccess photo corners.  Have a great week. Hugs

BBTB2-Challenge/Country Life

Happy Monday and time for our BBTB2 Challenge, we were asked to use the barn from Cricut cart "Country Life", I do not have that cart but I do have "My World" which has a barn so I created from that. I cannot remember when I have had so much fun creating a card, for some reason this whole card just tickled my funny box and I giggled through the entire process.  The barn and cow are from "My World", the sun is from "LIAB", the sky background was printed with the Imagine and "Best Friends" cart papers are by Cosmo Cricket. The bottom background paper by Imaginations "Meadow Study".  The banner on the barn was computer generated and attached with 2 black brads.  All coloring was done with Copic markers.  Hope you have a great week and "thanks for mozyn on to my here blog and yah'all come back now.", said, in my best Texas drawl.  Hugs

The Imagine is here, installed and working!

What a saga this has been, but a month and a day after ordering, one received and returned, the Imagine is finally producing.  I have to say this is one slick machine.  I held my breath yesterday as I pushed the start button.  This card was done completely with the "Imagine More" cart. I first printed out my background paper to cardstock cut it for a 6"X6" card, EKSuccess photo corners, "Happy Birthday" is a stamped image and misc. ribbon and crystal.
I am submitting this for the "Circle Cricut Challenge this week which is fall colors.

This is the treatbox from "Imagine", bats were done with MS punch and Boo is a Spellbinder's font.

Hope everyone has a great weekend, we are finally in some cool down from the 90's, so will enjoy every lesser degree. Hugs

the black and white photo corners are EKSuccess cut from paper tape.  A fun challenge. Happy Wednesday. Hugs

Oh Alice-give us words

I do truly love "The Oh Alice" Challenge Blog, it is like getting permission to free fall.  This week they are asking for the printed word to be the focus for the challenge.  So I did a special background paper just for the occasion. Then used Graphic45 boarders, then made a banner using paper tape and adhesive tape, 3 stamps "Live, Love, Laugh" and the airbrush and laid the adhesive tape over the paper tape.  The photo corners EKSuccess from paper tape.  The bats are from the Martha Stewart around the page punch. Hope everyone has a great Tuesday. Hugs

236calorie Egg&Bacon Muffin

With my new routine of walking and the gym I find I am a little more conscious of what I eat, I mean to do all that work and then blow it on a hamburger seems rather sadistic to me, LOL.  On the other hand I am not going overboard either.  Tweaks here and there can yield great results.  Here is my newest breakfast treat.

English Muffin with Scrambled egg and bacon my way.   236 calories
   McDonald's Egg McMuffin 298.95
Jimmy Dean Frozen 430 (yep, you read it right)

Here is the recipe:
ingredients:

1 large egg
1tblsp milk
1slice bacon(crumbled)
1 english muffin (100 calorie muffins)

1 microwave egg cooker
1 microwave bacon cooker (I use the one that cooks the bacon on the standing rack so that the bacon does                                        not cook in its own grease.)

Cook your bacon prior to fixing your sandwich, I keep crumbled slices in a container in the frig for salads and sandwiches.  In a mixing bowl crack your egg, add milk and beat gently, add bacon crumbles and pour into microwave cooker, cook for 45secs.  The more you beat the eggs the more it will puff up but will then let down when you remove from the microwave. Place on toasted English Muffin (a slice of cheese is optional and will add to the calorie count), I have found that the egg is so fluffy and moist the cheese is not needed.
Enjoy!
Happy Friday, Hugs
