Charged

Do you ever get visuals when you have a thought?  I have been documenting and photographing all of my stuff that is shipping down south and my phone has been on the charger more than not.  So this morning when it told me my battery was exhausted, I was a little miffed, lol, so this is what I did while it was on the charger, hopefully I scared it into keeping the charge a little longer, yah think?  Bolts and Charge man were done with Sketchbook Pro and Copic colors, the background is a gelli pull.  Happy Hump Day!  Hugs

Today Shines

Creating text or journaling blocks with Sketchbook is easy, quick and you are able to color coordinate them to your Copics.  Background is a gelli pull, the sun was done for this card and the butterfly is a pre-existing element hand colored with Copics, the text box same copic colors except colored in Sketchbook, I am a happy camper.  Happy Tuesday, hugs

Snowman face with Scarf

A fun snowman face with a scarf and this about does it for my Christmas cards, as I play with the Sketchbook Software and becoming familiar with all of its features, I am amazed at its simplicity and power. I am blessed to have found this amazing tool.  I love so much that it supports my Copic colors, wow!  The next two weeks for me will be packaging and getting all of this shipped out to Southern CA, hard to believe that the Craft Boutique is looming so close on the horizon.  I am looking forward to some great walks on the beach and being with some dear friends.  Hope everyone has a great week.  Hugs

Flower Bouquet

Happy Happy Weekend, remember I said I had made my decision to upgrade the Sketchbook Software but not til later in the year?  WELL, once I had made the decision, my imagination would not let me rest, "what if, what if, what if?" lol, so I did it. If I love my Wacom Tablet before (which I do) then I am adoring it now. The ease of interaction between the Wacom, PS6, Sketchbook and my Cameo is like magic.  They just sink together and make it all work flawlessly.
This is a generic card, it could be used for a birthday, thinking of you, get well or thank you card, the flowers were sketched and colored with the Copic Colors all in Sketchbook, then my Cameo graciously accepted the drawing and created perfect cut marks.  I am getting a lot of mileage from the "Sheet Music Sketch" from the Silhouette Library it is so versitile.  The background is one of my gelli pulls and my little butterfly with some raffia finish it off.  Be creative my friends, Hugs

Find Your Song

A sketch done with the Sketchbook and my Wacom, colors are by Copic Markers.  The background is Music Sheet Sketch from the Silhouette Library.  Thing I am loving most about sketchbook is that the drawing can be refined over and over without restarting.  So this is where I am when I have a few minutes and need a break. Happy Friday, hugs

Quiet Giants

I have been painting my table top blackboards, as I was cleaning up, I realized I loved my drop sheets and took some pictures before I picked them up.  I watched a documentary the other night about trees and it keeps popping up in my head.  This morning I decided to do a winter card with some scraps on my table. I have a new mulberry tree in my front yard and it has been going through a little transplant shock, so I have been talking to it during the day, there are little green nubs on the branches, so it is alive, sure hope I can keep it that way through winter.  I will keep telling it I love it, have you talked to your tree today? LOL, hugs

Space Boy - Trick or Treat?

Morning All, well this is the time of the year that I reflect on my work for the year and start thinking about what I am going to tackle for the next one.  I have learned so much this year on my computer, I have fallen in love (again) with PS6 and embrace it daily, I have also installed and gotten used to my Wacom Sketch as a mouse and so much more, however it is now time to start using it as my sketch tool and so I have been trying to figure out if I am going to upgrade to the full Autodesk Sketchbook Epress that comes with it or move on to another tool, I have definitely decided to upgrade.  I love this software, I love how the pen navigates, I love the simplicity and organization of it but mostly it supports my Copic colors, so I will do that at the end of the year and this will be a large chunk of my 2014 learning.
Space Boy was sketched with Autodesk but I did hand coloring with the Copics, the sentiment tag was done exclusively with the Autodesk, the sketching and the color.  I love it when plans start coming together, lol.  I think I am also going to enter this in the Marker Pro - "Anything Goes Challenge".  Have a great day, hugs

Drama Tree

I wanted to do a card using my Christmas Tree but just a little drama to it, I wanted the sides of the background to be deckled.  Options, I could tear each background separately, I could use deckle scissors, I could make the Silhouette Cameo cut it, hmmmm.  So, here is what I came up with, I tore a sheet on one side, scanned it in and then took it to the Cameo, I then copied it mirror image to the right, lined the two images up, then joined them as objects.  I then selected my trace area and detached, and then selected my cut lines.  There was a minimal amount of point editing, it took about 3mins.  So I have my drama tree and that makes me happy.  Hope you have a happy thursday ahead of you, hugs

This little gate with picket fence is a new design in the Silhouette Library, could not resist it.  It makes a sweet generic thinking of you card.  Hope everyones week is running smoothly, hugs
