Live Life In the Moment

Morning Peeps, it is Monday and normally I would be posting a BBTB2 Challenge, but I have taken this one off to stick with my Silhouette.  I have learned so much in the last week and I want to enhance it and make sure that it has all stuck with, but I promise I will see everyone for next weeks BBTB2.

This is a standard A-2 card and my first one with a Silhouette cut using one of my designs (the butterfly).  I don't have it down to a fine art yet, but getting there, lol.  I created the button background with the Silhouette button image, making it different sizes and then creating a compound image and using the Silhouette pen (black) to ink it out.  I then took the Copic Airbrush and markers to it.  Did just a tiniest bit of distressing around the edges and before mounting it to my card blank I pulled thread through 3 of the buttons, doing an "X" on two and tieing the top one into a bow.  This is the reason I took the plunge into the Silhouette, so that I had more freedom to create what I wanted start to finish.  The sentiment is a Tim Holtz Stamp.

Have a great week and thanks to everyone who stops by, your comments and opinions are precious to me, so thanks bunches, in advance.  Hugs
